This 3'x4' cardinal is extending an "olive branch", but instead of a stick, he's got a sprig of poison ivy...The evening of the #greatamericaneclipse I climbed into a pine tree in my front yard and cut down a broken branch with a hand saw and hatchet. On the way up I noticed poison ivy or oak growing all over the middle of the trunk. I was careful to avoid it, but it was inevitable. I ended up getting the rash all over my arms before the job was done.
