This is my interpretation of the Puerto Rican superhero. The fictional character was originally created by Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez. Her powers are drawn from history and mysticism found on the island of Puerto Rico. The graphic novels with this character have been a great way of connecting my daughter to her Puerto Rican roots as well.
